We are dedicated to our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and embracing the beauty of diverse complexions. Over the years we have introduced a number of complementary skintone shades into our leotards, half sole’s, ballet flats, Blochsox, foot thongs, tights and newly launched kneepad and have been listening to our dance community to develop this exciting introduction to our Pointe shoe range.

The Shades

Each colourway was meticulously planned and developed in partnership with a number of incredible dancers from our BLOCH community to get their invaluable input, with particular focus on the depth and importance of undertones to ensure we bring to you the very best satin shades that harmonize with a variety of skin tones.

The first colourway launching in the B You series is the B29 – a warm rich brown with a subtle hint of red undertone. Following this B31 , a deeper shade of brown with a strong depth of red undertone; the B27 a golden brown with a hint of yellow and peach undertones; and the B24 a paler peachy tan with subtle yellow undertones. Each colour will be available in our bestselling styles, the Heritage and Balance European in all our usual sizing.

The B You Range

“I think Bloch has done a really great job of taking the time and making sure it’s done right. The process has been really hands on, lots of shipping pointe shoes back and forth in the mail, sending colour swatches and different colourtones and undertones that match my skin.”
Ashley Murphy, Company Artist at Washington Ballet
